Elizabeth Mosh tries to file bankruptcy using the free government forms, has trouble, asks software company to help her for free.

This page is in the response to a person named "Elizabeth Mosh" filing a "Ripoff Report" claim against us under the pseudonym "Craig Allen".

We feel that Elizabeth Mosh bankruptcy has caused her much financial stress, and she has problems with misdirection of her aggression and anger. As you can see in the email chain below, Elizabeth Mosh originally asked us for legal advice/form advice, and, after we informed her that we didn't see any record of her ordering our software, she told us that she was working on the free forms that she had downloaded from the government site. When we then informed her that her issue would not have exited had she purchased our software, her tone became increasingly negative, and, eight hours later an embellished complaint on "Ripoff Report" was submitted under the ghost name "Craig Allen".

We have never sold software to anyone named "Craig Allen".

The IP address of the emails from Elizabeth Mosh to us, as well as the IP address of the complain by Craig Allen to "Ripoff Report.com" match.

Chances are that by the time you read this, several months have gone by. Since bankruptcy filings are part of public record, you can easily find out who has filed, and when, by going to the site PACER.gov.

If you look at the email chain below, you will see that the emails in question were on 1/22/2015, and the timestamp would suggest that Elizabeth Mosh live in the Eastern Time Zone (the emails from us have a timestamp of 3 hours BEFORE hers, and we are in California).

We checked public records for a bankruptcy filing for Elizabeth Mosh four months later, and found that she filed on 5/8/2015 in Philadelphia, PA, using a lawyer. We HAVE NOT found anyone by the name "Craig Allen" who has filed for bankruptcy in that time.

Elizabeth Mosh is obviously going through a tough time with her finances, and may not be in the best mental state. We feel that is why she may have chosen to be dishonest and vindictive toward us. She also may have felt that there was no chance we would respond, with evidence for all to see for years to come, that her attempt to "take us down" was not so anonymous.

There are two lessons to be learned here. One is for her:
If you're going to make a false complaint against a bankruptcy company anonymously, don't assume that company won't respond with specifics that expose you. Also, if you choose to fabricate a complaint with the intent that it will stay on the internet for years to come, don't assume those specifics that expose your vindictive lies (you know, like broadcasting the first thing that everyone knows about you is that you filed for bankruptcy on 5/82015, with specifics on all your finances at that time readily available online) won't also stay up on the internet for years to come...after all, we need to defend ourselves.

The next lesson is for us:
If someone in a desperate situation makes an unreasonable request on you, it is best to ignore that person rather that answer in a tone that may seem "condescending" or "curt". It may lead to some nastly escalation.

So here we are, and this is where the issue of Elizabeth Mosh struggling to complete the free government bankruptcy forms has escalated to. Hopefully this will lead to her rescinding her complaint on "Ripoff Report", which will then lead to us taking this page down. After all, this page only exists as our attempt to defend ourselves. I truly hope her unfortunate attempt to continue her devious and dishonest acts will not again escalate, as we will then have to escalate things on our end as well.

The email chain from the incident is below.

EMAIL CHAIN

Hi, James. My name is Elizabeth, and I have a question that I hope you can help answer. When exempting possessions (furniture, clothing, electronics, etc.) on the form, is it recommended that each item be listed individually (computer chair - $29, computer desk - $79, etc.), or should they be bulked (computer desk and chair - $108) per line?

Kindly,
Elizabeth Mosh

Hi Elizabeth,

I'm trying to find your order. Do you know when you purchased our software?

Sorry, James. I should have clarified. I originally downloaded a series of forms from http://www.uscourts.gov a few days ago, but I read on a review site that your software makes the filing process easier in the sense that it compiles most necessary forms into one program and even cuts the tedious task of having to repeatedly enter basic information (name, social, etc.) in half. However, nothing was noted about your software's exemption process. So, I thought I would go straight to the source and ask.

Thank you,
Elizabeth Mosh

Hi Elizabeth,

If you had ordered our software, that question would not have been an issue.

Good luck with your bankruptcy.

Your answer to my question would have determined whether I was to buy your software or not. And my mind is made. Thank you.

Best,
